Too often the work of IT goes unrecognized. Facilitating the expansion of human knowledge is no small feat. CUCCIO’s members take this monumental task and make it a daily occurrence.

What do you do that deserves recognition? What minor miracles of tech wizardry do you perform? How do you streamline, innovate, collaborate, and build the Canadian higher education community? It is daunting to think of our day-to-day work as deserving of accolades. CUCCIO thinks the work you do is important and we want to celebrate it with you!

Make your submission in any of the following categories: Innovators, collaborators, or community leaders through the submit now buttons. Fill in the forms as completely as possible. Deadline for application is 11:59 pm EDT on May 17, 2023.

Receive your praise.
Once you’ve entered your submission, CUCCIO’s panel of judges will evaluate each of the submissions based on the posted criteria. We’ll announce the finalists at 8:00 am EDT on June 9, 2023. All of the submitters are welcome to participate in CANHEIT and be present for the CUCCIO Awards Gala at 6:30 pm EDT on June 20, 2023. The winners will be announced live, on-stage, at The Carlu.

CUCCIO judges the collaborators category on the following criteria:
The breadth and extent of the collaboration.
The impact of achieved or planned benefits.
Application to other CUCCIO members.
Your submission can be for internal or external teams. It can be for active or in-progress outputs. We want share how you are working with others to build better outcomes.
CUCCIO judges the innovators category on the following criteria:
Innovation in the application of existing tech or the development of new tech.
The impact of achieved or planned benefits.
Applicability to other CUCCIO members.
Your submission can be for new or repurposed technology. It can be for active or in-progress outputs. We want share how you are working with others to build better outcomes.
The community leaders category recognizes an individual, group, or institution who demonstrate a dedication to our community. Working to share information, collaborate, and create knowledge.
